OS 46 AX 2 Idle speed drops

If I am at full throttle 12000 rpm and lower it to low throttle the revs drop quickly to about 3000 rpm and then drops a further 500-600 rpm over about 15 secs.
It is a noticeable slowing down of the revs dropping. This is an OS 46 AX 2 nitro running a 10 x 6 prop in a Seagull Challenger.
