Leo .40 engine running problems

I have a leo .40 engine and its lucky if its had 20 mins running time in 7 years. I have aquired this project from my dad to kill time however i can get the engine to pull fuel and fire up but doesnt run for anymore than a minute before running dead soundinf like its starved of fuel ! Its pulling fuel so this is not the problem.

Im new to the plane engine and would like some help if anyone has any pointers to keep it running.

Thanks in advanced to everyone

Aron

Things to check
by: rcdude07

I'm not familiar with that brand of motor. Check the following: glow plug, start the high end needle valve at the recommended default starting position (typically 2-2.5 full turns out), check the low end needle.

If there is a gasket between the muffler and engine head, check the gasket is fully intact. Replace as needed.
