What Motor for My Biplane?

I HAVE BUILT A BEA12A BIPLANE 49 INCH WINGSPAN AND I AM HOPING YOU CAN HELP ME CHOOSE A ELECTRIC MOTOR TO GIVE ENOUGH POWER TO FLY IT.


ALSO HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT ESC CLONTROLLER TO MATCH THE MOTOR AND THE BATTERIES THAT WILL MATCH THE SITUATION.

I HAVE BIULT IT FROM PLANS SO I DO NOT HAVE THIS INFORMATION,I AM NEW TO THE HOBBY AND WOULD BE GRATEFULL OF THE HELP.

What's the weight?

What's the weight of the aircraft? This is critical as you must make sure you create enough thrust to over come the aircraft's weight.


ALSO HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT ESC CLONTROLLER TO MATCH THE MOTOR AND THE BATTERIES THAT WILL MATCH THE SITUATION.

This answer will depend on your prop and battery selection. As you will need a battery that can safely handle the max amperage pulled by the prop and motor at full throttle.
