Hitec Ikonnik KA-6, can you buddy

by Edd
(London, uk)

Hi

I am new to the RC planes and have bought a trainer so my 10 year old can learn to fly. I recently read that you can buddy/link transmitters to teach others to fly. Currently I have a hitec ikonnik ka-6, and was wondering if this can act as a junior transmitter? I can't see anything in the manual or online. If it works then I will buy another hitec transmitter to be the master, probably optic 6.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edd

I found the manual and support docs here:

It looks like there is a port on the back of the TX for a cabled TX connection for buddy boxing
