Airtronic Transmitter & Receiver Frequency Question

by Pejman
(Tarzna, CA)

I have two old Airtronic radio systems. These old radios were handed down to me. However, the sticker that shows the frequency of the transmitter has fallen off the radio.

I can see the frequency in the receiver crystals, but is there any way to confirm that the transmitter is within range for the receiver frequencies?

Can anyone make any suggestions? Airtronics closed down their doors and I need someone who understands radios really well to advise.

Regards,

PJ

I would suggest charging the transmitter and receiver batteries. Hook up a couple of servos and see if the servos respond to the transmitter inputs.

More than likely the TX and RX match if they were used together in the past.
