replace the motor on a flyzone switch

by Ron

Trying to replace the stock motor on my flyzone switch to get more power. I have a 30 amp esc. What would be a good, more powerful replacement.

Depends on prop
by: rcdude07

Your answer will depend on the prop you select to fly with and what the esc is capable at for sustained flight and bursts.

I would recommend starting with the stock motor specs and pick the next motor up from there and comparing the specs. As long as the prop/motor combination for continuous current is not over the limit for your ESC and lipo, give it a try. Do stay away from cheap Chinese motors as they won't last as long and usually aren't as good quality.
