What the Heck are X-Port Accessories?
X-port accessories
are neat little gadgets that transform select Hobby Zone and Park Zone airplanes into long-range bombers, combat fighters, or night flying illuminated aircraft. How does it work? Simple actually. You just plug the X-port module into the X-port and you’re ready to rock! There is a button on the top left of the transmitter that activates the X-port module.
The
Sonic Combat Module
is my personal favorite. This X-port module allows you to play a friendly game of laser with your buddy. When you manage to land a hit on your buddy’s plane, it immediately kills his motor for 10 seconds! He will still be able to steer his plane, and may even be able to stay in the air if he’s high enough when you nail him. It’s completely awesome when you force your buddy to make an “emergency” landing! If you have a buddy that likes to fly, the Sonic Combat Module is a must!
Aerial Drop Module
You can drop streamer bombs or a parachutist from hundreds of feet in the air with this X-port accessory

. Just make sure it’s not too windy or you may never see your little parachutist buddy again! The streamer bombs are actually a lot more fun than you may think. We usually make a mark on the ground and see who can drop the streamer bombs the closest.
You can also get creative by stuffing over things into the drop module. I like making different types of paper airplanes and watching how they glide back down. You can drop pretty much whatever you want as long as it’s light enough. Just make sure to use common sense and be safe. And always pick up what you drop. Don’t be a litterbug!
Night-Flight Module
The
Night-Flight module
is pretty wild! It equips your bird with super-bright LED lights, with four different light settings. If you ever get bored with your airplane, this Night-Flight Module will definitely resurrect your enthusiasm! If you didn’t know what you were looking at, you’d swear it was a UFO. I always wonder what people think when they are driving by while I’m flying mine…
I don’t suggest using this module until you are completely confident with your flying abilities. You really have to be on your toes when flying at night. It’s very easy to get disoriented. If you’re just learning to fly, the X-port accessory is something to look forward to.
