56 years old and live in the Seattle area. Just started flying RC again after an extended absence associated with raising a family.

Have built several pattern birds over the past couple of years and entered one NSRCA District 8 contest last year (finished last in Sportsman so that should give you an idea of my flying ability).

Hope to enter several more this year. I like to build and we have a flier in D8 that has his own design and I have built several planes from the plans he sold to me.

Have had some trouble finding anyone in the area that is actively flying pattern. Also club flying fields in the area are moving farther and farther away from town,so I haven't had a lot of luck in hooking up with anyone to fly with.
