The Tamiya nitro Thunder

Hi

I have a Tamiya nitro thunder car which has been great!!

I've used i a couple of times after running it in. After that I tried starting it, and the starter cord broke.

I decide that I would take off the washers and one way bearing nut and just put the case on. A few weeks later I got a starter box an Ansmann racing. Which is for on road and off-road.

I then put fuel in it pumped it twice turned on the remote and then the car placed it on the starter box, put the glow plug on and switched on the starter box. I pushed down on the car making it start up after a few pushes. I took it off the box and it cut out. I placed it again on the starter box and did exactly the same but left it on the starter box and pressed the throttle nothing happened apart from the needle moving the tires didn't move.

I took it off the starter box and it cut out. Does it have dirt in the fuel tube? What should I do next? If I had to clean it out what would I have to do?

Thanks you
Best regards.

You need your pullstarter

Hi,

Put your pull starter in the same way it comes in your rc car and try it again. It is probably because your engine needs this thing. Also clean the engine and try a new plug. This will probably fix your problem.
