Spinner sizes for large propellers

I am using an 18 x 6 Prop on a Saito 1.80. It seems like all the spinners I see do not have a large enough cutout for the prop blades. I had a plastic one and enlarged the cutouts but I'm not completely comfortable with using it.


Can someone please advise?

Aluminum spinner maybe?

Hey Kevin,

You live right down the road from me. I live in Carrollton. Are you a member of RCRC?

Have you looked at aluminum spinners? They are a bit more expensive, but seem to be available in larger sizes than the plastic ones. Sometimes you can find a decent deal on eBay. I listed a few below.
