Spektrum radio binding problem

Has anyone experienced a problem trying to bind a Spektrum radio with the airplane when the airplane receiver is turned on after the transmitter box?

Sometimes mine will bind and sometimes not. I never have a problem however if the airplance is turned on first.

RX on first, then TX

Hi Gary,

Which Spektrum radio do you have?

I have the DX6i and the directions say to turn the RX on first, then turn the TX on with the trainer switch activated.

I would imagine all Spektrum radios bind in the same manner. I am surprised you get it to bind at all doing in the opposite direction.
