Sig Kadet Senior

by Terry
(Canon City Co)

80" wingspan
tower hobby 46 nitro motor
11-7 propeller

It's now a tail dragger with a mini servo to turn the tail wheel and is set up with flaprons.

It can take off and land in 20 to 30 feet. It's very stable even when flying at the same speed you walk.

I like this Sig Kadet Senior alot it so much fun to fly.

What about wind?
by: Gary

Thanks for the post, Terry. I have been considering the Senior for training, but the build manual online says not to fly in wind over 10 mph. Has this been a problem for you? We don't get a lot of days like that here in SW Missouri. Is your pictured Senior the kit (no ailerons) or the ARF (ailerons). I don't see any ailerons, but the color scheme is similar to the ARF. What engine do you use? How much does it weigh?

A lot of questions, I know. I started to learn a couple of years ago, but cancer got in the way. Now I'm back and ready to start again, but I don't have my original trainer anymore, can't get another of the same, so I am looking at what is available. Hope you can help. Thanks.
