Scratch Built Dallas X-1 Biplane

This is my scratch built biplane. I have designed and built it with no plans and its still under construction. It has a wingspan of 41" with about 512" of wing area. she will be powered by a magnum .25 2C nitro engine.

I chose the color scheme,Purple/white,to honor my daughter who loves purple. at this point I have about 80 or 90 hours of build time in it.

I came up with the basic idea of what it would look like about a year ago and drew a very basic doodle in my sketch book. I never thought I would actually build it but here she is. Being that this is my 1st attempt at building a plane I ask you to wish me luck.
