SC 46 NITRO AIRCRAFT ENGINE

Hi,

I've just bought a SC 46 NITRO AIRCRAFT ENGINE off ebay and have been having difficulty in getting it to run.

I've just done some reading on your site and it appears that I'm missing a fast running jet on the front of the crankcase as I've only got one adjustment screw on the carb other than the idle speed.

Would it be possible for you to give me a price or point me in the right direction.

A picture really is worth a 1000 words. You can use the submission form to submit a picture of what you have. Just fill it out like you're making another submission and attach a photo. You can leave the rest of the submission blank. Maybe have to type in something in the test area to get it to take, like "test" or "photo" or whatever...

Bits for an SC 46

G'day

SC engines are made by Sanye in China. They also make ASP and Magnum and all three are basically identical except for the name on the crankcase.

There are, however, different Marks. There are at least Mk1, Mk2 and Mk3 versions of these engines though I suspect the part you need may be the same across all versions.

If you can put up a photo of the engine or send one to me by email at mikezzzleys@live.com I may be more able to tell you exactly what you have and what you need. It sounds like you are missing the high speed needle valve?
