running nitro engine on empty

hi mat

i have a slight problem. when i,m running my plane i notice near the end of the tank of gas my plane seems to run like its out of gas. i start again then it runs fine till i increase the throttle then stalls. should you run your plane dry?

You say near the end of the tank, can you be more specific?

Is it 1/4 tank? 1/8 tank? Fumes? lol

I generally try not to run my planes empty in the air. I have a timer on my radio that I set to let me know when it's time to land.

But I have ran out a few times. I think everybody does at some point!

But your engine really should not quit until there fuel is almost completely gone.

I guess in order to help you, I need to know how empty we're talking about here!
