From an estate - A Royal Kit: Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, Scale 3/4" = 1'. Accepts Engine sizes .15 - .25 (4). Wing Span 77 3/4", Fuselage Length 55 3/8", wing area 806 Sq In.

The box has been opened and inspected and res-sealed. I will not guarantee, but I am pretty sure all parts are there including Instructions, decals, cockpit details, die-cut parts sheet layout for plywood and balsa parts. There are full size layout plans and templates. All bubbles, canopies and plastic gun parts and 4 aluminum engine nacelles.

The previous buyer had begun to mark and punch out parts but never finished.

No gaurantees, but I am reasonable certain that it is all there. Worst case: If a piece is missing, the full size plans and templates would allow easy fabrication of a replacement part.
Royal has long been out of business and kits are rare. This might be the last existing B-17.

I have searched for this kit for 15 years. As long as it has the aluminum spinners it is for real. what I think that most builders don't understand is the amount of woodwork involved.

This kit seems to be sound and want to build it but not for the the price mentioned. When Royal came out with that kit it was a workers kit and anyone that has built one would know. then along with the price you have to add the engines (not going to talk about the syncs on that)

I will pay right now $250 for that kit and I'm being nice due to the fact that it came out at $199 when it was first on the market and I'm sure the wood is dry and needs to be re constituded as far as moisture before building as long nothing id brittle.
