RealFlight G4 is Great Plane's most recent release of the RealFlight series of RC flight simulators.

While Real Flight G3 is an excellent RC simulator, G4 pushes the envelope with better graphics and more accurate aerodynamic modeling.

This simulator literally brings the flying field to your living room!

The Controller

The Real Flight G4 package includes an InterLink Elite controller designed after Futaba's 6EX radio system. It looks and feels exactly like an actual 6EX transmitter!

The controller includes an interface for using your own transmitter, the one you actually use at the flying field! You can even use your transmitter and the InterLink controller at the same time while flying multi-player mode.

Flying Sites

If you're a 3D pilot or wish to become one, then RealFlight G4 has your name on it! There are 20 flying types specifically designed for 3-D flying.

There are also 7 PhotoField™ Sites which uses high definition panoramic photos that really bring the simulator to life.

Water Take-Offs and Landings

Have ever toyed with the idea of putting floats on your airplane but were too afraid to try it? With RealFlight G4 you can practice taking off and landing in water without worrying bout drowning your airplane!

Once you've mastered it on the simulator, it will be a breeze to impress your friends the next time you gather at the lake!

Virtual Flight Instruction™

Professional RC pilots including Frank Noll, Jason Shulman, Todd Bennett and John Glezellis step you through all kinds of cool maneuvers. They will explain the maneuvers to you while they are actually performing them. Their stick movements are displayed on the screen so you can watch exactly what they are doing throughout the entire flight!

With Real Flight G4, you get flying lessons from the most talented pilots on the world without even leaving your house!

Other Training Aids

In addition to the virtual flight instructors, there are training aids for learning to takeoff and land. There is software for teaching you how to hover both helicopters and 3D aircraft. Another module teaches you how to manage the orientation of a helicopter.

Flight Recording and Playback

With this feature, you can record and playback your flights. Your stick movements that are displayed on the screen throughout the flight can also be recorded. You can even plug a microphone into your computer and narrarate during the recording.

This is great for sharing your flights with friends online. You can even teach'em a maneuver or two!

Online Multiplayer

With Real Flight you can fly with friends across the country, or world for that matter! You can also type to other RealFlight users in real time. This is great for getting flying tips from others and learning new maneuvers.
