RC Glider: Sunset Flight Over Pinnacle, NC

A cockpit view of a peaceful flight over snow covered farmland at sunset in Pinnacle, NC. The soundtrack from Celtic Woman compliments the serenity of the flight. Put on your head set or turn up the speakers for the full effect. This is my first attempt at FPV Video.

It's a Multiplex Easy Glider Pro with a 2815 Himax brushless inrunner and BL37 ESC. It's the upgrade for this plane. I'm using a 3S 2500 mah lipo.

I am 30 min from the blue ridge and the mountains would be a great place for me to launch it. I have to find a location to launch, where it could be flown off the mountain side for great views.

The cam is a VD80 mini DV cam with 30 fps. It's very small with an alloy casing about $100.00 and will take up to an 8 GB card. I get beautiful videos for up to 2 hrs and no problems with outside temperatures like the flycams.

I'll post more when I get the chance.

Very Nice Jimmymac,

That sunset against the mountains is really cool.
I bet you will get some awesome footage this fall when when the leaves are turning. Is this close to the Smokeys?

It would be sweet if you took it up into the mountains and fly over the edge of those awesome overlooks along the road.

What kind of equipment are you using? What glider and camera equipment?
