You may want to look at a Fults nose gear which has the appearance of a capital letter H. I can't speak from experience, but it should offer the added strength, and of course, there will be added weight. The Fults may not be your solution, but thought I'd offer another possibility besides gearing upward.

From looking at both sets, the gear for the Alpha 60 is obviously going to be much heavier.
It may be possible if you have a large enough engine to overcome the extra weight. The most important thing would be to make sure the center of gravity is correct after installing the new gear.
If the CG is correct, the worse case scenario is that your plane will be sluggish. Just make sure the CG is correct...
Did I mention the CG is important? lol
Another possibility is to take a grinding wheel to the 60 size gear to remove some extra weight... Just a thought...
