ParkZone T-28D TrojanParkZone T-28D is the same as the original version
The shear power and simplicity of the original Parkzone T-28 was an instant hit amongst parkflyer pilots. It's tame enough for a beginner yet popular among experienced pilots as well. This plane was such a huge hit that ParkZone has decided to release the exact same plane replacing the U.S. NAVY color scheme with the U.S. Air force color scheme and offer it as a Bind-N-Fly Version. Parkzone T-28D vs T-28Are you wondering what the difference is between the ParkZone T-28D and the original T-28? As far as the airplane and itself, it is the same bird with a different color scheme. In fact, the color scheme is the only difference between the Parkzone T-28D PNP and the Parkzone T-28 PNP Both have the same 480-size 960Kv brushless outrunner and 18A ESC. Both have a 44" wingspan, 36" overall length and weigh 874 grams. Spektrum DSM2 radio systems have become very popular since the release of the original ParkZone Trojan. ParkZone released the ParkZone T-29D to accommodate the many Spektrum radio owners with the Bind-N-Fly option. The ParkZone T-28D BNF comes ready to fly including the 3S 11.1V 1800mAh Li-Po pack and variable rate 2- to 3-cell Li-Po balancing fast charger. Bind any DSM2 radio to the included AR500 Spektrum receiver and you're ready to fly! So what does the "D" stand for?As far as it relates to the ParkZone planes, the "D" is simply a way to distinguish between the two models and has no other significance. When speaking of the real full-scale North American T-28, the "D" designates the latest version of the Trojan that carries fire power! The U.S. Air force began using North American T-28A's as a military trainer in 1949, replacing the T-6 Texans. The U.S. Navy began using the T-28B in 1952. The engine in the T-28B was almost twice as powerful as the original. By this logic, the original ParkZone T-28 should have been called ParkZone T-28B! The T-28B became the T-28C when it was equipped with arresting gear for landing on aircraft carriers. In the early 1960's, the wings were modified to mount weapons and the T-28D became the armed version of the Trojan.
