Add a bit of castor

G'day

The 10% nitro is just about right but with a plain bearing engine like the LA, would add a small amount of castor oil to the mix to bring the total oil up to about 20%. Plane bearing engines benefit from a bit of castor.

You are not seeing much "smoke" either because you have it tuned pretty lean or simply because the oil is burning. Smoke is usually not smoke at all but oil or oil plus fuel vapour. Adding some castor will help in this area too and the engine will last longer.
