Nitro or Gas RC Airplane?

When looking RC planes to buy, some say that they are "nitro/gas".

Does this mean that I can install either a nitro engine or a gas engine in it?

Yes it does. Sometimes people will interchange the use of nitro with gas. With gasoline r/c engines getting smaller, it's cheaper in the long run to install gas. A gallon of nitro is between $20-30 USD while a gallon of gas is between $2-4 (maybe more on the west coast) USD.
