I removed the fuel tank and sure enough, the clunk was stuck in the front of the tank!
I installed the tubing like you suggested. It sure is nice to be able to land the plane with the engine running!
Thanks again,
Jack

May be the clunk by: Matt
Hello Jack,
I have had similar problems and it is usually the clunk.
Some times on a hard landing the clunk in the fuel tank can get thrown forward and may get stuck in the front of the tank.
This has happened to be a couple of times. If this turns out to be the problem, the best thing to do is to put a small piece of copper tubing between the tank inlet and the clunk. This keeps the fuel tubing from being able to bend enough to allow the cluck to get stuck forward.
