Hobbico Superstar 40 RTF

by Dean

This plane flies very easily and reliably. It has simple, basic 4 channel controls and durable construction, yet impressive size and quality components that can be used for future projects.

It is capable of basic aerobatics, and even after many flights it still lots of fun!

The OS .40LA is adequate power, and the Futaba S3003 servos have stood the test of time. The Futaba Skysport T4V radio and R127DF receiver are as straight-forward as any newbie could want.

The ARF goes together easily and teaches the basics of ARF building, and the color scheme is nicely visible.

Good stuff
by: Michael from Oz

G'day Nice to see someone flying a decent size trainer and not overpowering it. So many student pilots buy small trainers and then put too much power in them. The LA series are ideal for the beginner and in trainers as they are happy to work at medium revs and are not difficult to run in or set up.

Keep up the good work.

What will the next model be? Your LA would be fine in a Sig Four Star 40 so long as you keep it light.
