Futaba 6XA Computer Radio - UNUSED & MINT!!

by Matt Rivers-Moore
(Ottawa, ON, Canada)

I have a Futaba 6XA 6-channel radio from back in the days of flying R/C, which I abandoned some time ago when I got busy with other things.

This radio I bought with the intention of using, but it stayed in its box untouched as things turned out. And now I'm trying to get it out to someone who will use it...

The box has suffered some minor wear and tear (nothing serious), but the foam insulation in the box is totally intact, and the radio is in MINT condition, along with the 4 servos and receiver, and all the rest of the included charger, battery, etc.

The manual, while not mint, is nonetheless in great condition.

The manual and radio specs are available here:

Asking 140$ for this, but I will also take offers. I will ship to the US or Canada; buyer pays for shipping.

Find tons of used radios on eBay
by: Matt

Hi,

If the seller doesn't respond, you may want to check out Check this Futaba Radio out on eBay

You may be able to get a real steal, but shipping may be high since its from GB.

Ebay is a great place to find a good used radio for your son if the seller doesn't respond.

Just a thought...

i own this radio.. it's not bad at all. Am thinking of buying this for the receiver and servos but your price is out of line. Check out prices for new latest equipment then reconsider please.

There is nothing wrong with the radio you want to sell. Big deal if it isn't a "2.4". I still fly with AM radios that are up to date. No issues with those either! Some one out thete will buy the radio. Try RC Universe to advertise it.

Your radio has been discontinued from Futaba and it isn't a 2.4 GHz which is so popular now. You may have a hard time finding someone to buy it. I would imagine that the transmitter battery will no longer hold a charge. I experienced a similar thing with a spotlight that I had not used in almost a year. The battery will not hold a charge. I don't know how long you had this radio but that should be taken into consideration for the buyer and your pricing. I won't say all is lost but tell any potential buyer that they may need a new battery, otherwise the Futaba radio was a good radio as is all of their radio's in my opinion. Good luck finding a buyer.
