Corona (made in China)

I have 3 of these digital servos and I tested them before mounting in an airplane.

Two of them squeal at rest but get quiet when the transmitter calls for a movement. The other one is quiet at rest but squeals when the transmitter calls for an action.

All three seem to move OK but the squealing causes concern as to whether to trust them in a plane. These servos are brand new never used in any application.

I still have not tried to use them.

However, the next time any of the servos on my planes get damaged or stop working, I'll give them a try.

I had one of the guys that I fly with test them on his radio setup and they worked fine in spite of the squeal.

Punishment no doubt!
by: Matt

After seeing the video of your Stryker, it's definitely safe to say those servos take some punishment!

The rudder servo for my ParkZone T-28 squeals too, but it flies OK. Those or Parkzone brand I believe.

Keep us posted

Hi William,

Let us know how the servos work out. I read a lot of good things about Corona servos but have never tried them myself.

From what I understand they are very good servos for the average sport flyer, but may not be the best choice if you're into precision flying.

Thanks for sharing and please keep us updated.
