CanI build a glider with rudder only without ailerons?

by aditya

I am making a glider for the first time. I have given a dihedral
angle of 10 degrees, so I plan to control only the elevator and rudder as the
dihedral will take care of the roll.

Is this okay or do you suggest using
ailerons. If we have to use ailerons, how do we make them and how do we control
them with servos?

What glider are you building?

Hello,

Many gliders and powered RC planes fly perfectly fine with rudder only, no ailerons. So you shouldn't have a problem controlling your glider.

What glider are you building? From scratch or from a kit?
