Can I use a Futaba R148 DP in place of R136 HP

by Philip

I am using a Futaba 6EXHP TX with a R136 HP receiver PCM 1024 Hi band , RX 50 with 72.790 frequency. The TX can be programmed for 6 models.

Can I use a Futaba R148 DP in the same range, in a second model since the original R136 HP is no longer available.

Regards, Philip.

R148 DP should work fine

Hi Philip,

Here is a link to the specs of your radio on Futaba's page.

Futaba 6EXH

It shows receivers that are compatible and R138DP is listed.

I am not really sure what the difference between the R138DP and R148DP is. From reading
this page it looks to me like the R138DP is a newer version?

You may want to contact Futaba Support (support@futaba-rc.com. ) to find out the difference between the two.

Matt
