Brushless Motors Questions

What is the fastest motors you can get for electric planes, and how do you tell which is going to produce more speed for your plane??

Do I go inrunner, or outrunner?? or just replace the propellers with greater pitch to help also??

and

Can you substitute a larger motor into a plane (for example my P-51 on this site http://www.nitroplanes.com/6chrtf.html, and I assume then I would need to upgrade the ESC to do that also to accomodate larger amps..

Most of my questions are coming from the want to get my electric plane to be as fast as it can be and be comparable to my Nitro Gas Messerschmitt BF-109..

Maybe it can not be done but I would like to come close as possible..
