AXI Outrunner Brushless Motors

AXI brushless motors are very efficient high quality outrunner motors manufactured by Models Motors in the Czech Republic. Since all AXI motors are outrunners, you don’t have to worry about buying a gearbox. All AXI motors have a hardened steel shaft supported by ball bearings.

AXI motors are available for just about any size plane from tiny park flyers to large planes generally powered by glow engines. As a matter of fact, AXI motors can pull 40 to 120 size RC airplanes with nearly as much power and authority of glow engines!

Many people actually convert their glow powered planes to electric by installing AXI motors. I can’t say as I blame them. They are getting nearly the same power without the hassles and gooey mess of a glow engine.


If you're lucky, you may be able to save quite a bit of money by finding an AXI Silver brushless motor on eBay . The AXI Silver line of brushless motors are basically identical to the AXI Gold series, except they are about 2% less efficient. In other words, your flight times will be a little shorter with the same battery.
